I've been following this along and would give two thumbs up to Jon's post. I suspect Alex is right -- woke types pulled the plug and even if reopened there would be the danger of another plug pull. Thank you, Jonathon, for reopening this forum. When Alex's ProBoards forum was closed, I was afraid we would all lose contact with each other. I know it is not up to me, but maybe it would be best to keep this forum active until a long-term spanking-friendly host iis found. I'm sure you would have volunteers to help manage the forum. If the cost is an issue, maybe some of us could help there, too.

There as been no communication from them. I’m guessing the “owners” are these woke kinds and didn’t like the topic. If there was a legitimate reason for deleting the board then they would have communicated with me. In reality it will probably not be going back on to that hosting platform.

It is important to understand what the problem was. Otherwise the platform could be deleted again after a lot of work setting it up.

Thanks for opening this up Jonathon. Lexie has suggested it might have been because we had members under 18. I don’t believe that would be a problem on the one I have started setting up on another hosting platform. They have a minimum age setting in the admin panel which goes as low as 12. I set it at 13. I will continue working towards either sorting the pro boards forum issue or getting the new one up and running. Thank you for the offer of continuing to maintain this domain if we need it, which ultimately in the long run maybe a better option. Please everyone, do not give up and please be patient while we try and sort through this silliness.

I'm not sure what is going on with the proboards forum but if anyone has information to share, feel free to share it here. I know Alex and Joey will be contacting people.
